Cerakote Pricing
This page is meant to explain the basics of our price structure. Prices vary depending on the size of the project and its complexity.
As a rule a larger project like a rifle will be more expensive than a smaller project such as a handgun.
Likewise, more complicated projects such as four-color camouflage patterns will be more expensive than less complex projects like single solid colors.
Below are prices for a variety of typical Cerakote projects.
Prices are for Cerakote services only, and we generally require that firearms be shipped to us completely disassembled. If we need to employ the services of a gunsmith to disassemble your firearm before coating it, additional charges will apply and it will be shipped back disassembled. Customers also pay actual shipping costs both directions.
Pistol (complete)
This is a typical, modern striker-fired handgun (e.g. Glock). Cerakote is applied to the frame and slide. If desired, the barrel and small parts (magazine release, extractor, slide catch, rear cover plate, etc) may also be coated, along with up to three magazine base plates at no additional cost.

Pistol (frame or slide)
The stripped slide or frame of a typical modern handgun.

Carbine
An AR-15 carbine, AK-47, or similar. These prices exclude wooden furniture, optics, and electronics.

Long Gun
A typical shotgun or hunting rifle.

Other items
We’re happy to coat a variety of other items including other optics, electronics, weapons, tools, sporting goods, automotive parts, and more.
Because projects have such great variety, however, we can’t provide a comprehensive price list. If you have a project that you’d like to get a quote on, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you.
* Note on additional colors: Unless stenciling service is included, each part is coated with a single color. For example: a pistol with a red slide, a white frame, and blue controls and barrel would count as having two additional colors.
